17.5oz500gicing sugar
10tbsp10tbspbutter
½cup½cuphot chocolate powder (optional)
½cup½cupmilk
2tbsp2tbspvanilla extract
½tsp½tspsalt

Line a medium tray with butter. In saucepan in boiling water (double pan), heat butter, milk, icing sugar, (cocoa if used), vanilla and salt over a low heat, stirring until it reaches setting point. Pour mixture quickly into buttered 9.5 inch loaf pan.

Allow to cool, then cut into squares. Makes approx 40 pieces.
