UPDATE - I am pleased to announce that the transfer of www.mixednuts.net has successfully been accomplished. There are no changes that anyone has to adapt to... it's all the very same. I am still working with a partner to manage the chat room, but until such time that he/she is ready, all issues/comments can be directed to webadmin@mixednuts.net . I will be checking that address at least 2x a day. Please feel free to contact me for any reason, but be aware that I might not reply immediately.
HoneyBadger (aka sweetjane) HoneyBadger/sweetjane has volunteered to take ownership of mixednuts.net. The website is not going to die on 1 February 2013 after all !!! The website based chat room will remain intact. Those of you who come to chat via the website will be able to continue doing so. The new chat room owner has been chosen and has agreed to take over the chat. In the mean time, HoneyBadger/sweetjane will also be taking care of the chat room. This is the person to speak to about chat room issues. Once final details have been worked out and a date for the change over is set I will let you know more . Be prepared for some changes. Some people will like them and some won't. It will no longer be zort's chat room. The new owner will be free to do as he/she thinks best just as I have all these years. I still urge those of you who use the website based (java) chat room to download a program that will allow you to connect to chat without needing to come to the website. There are quite a few to choose from and some are free to download and use. There's no need for you to buy anything. |
