| 1 1/2 quarts | red wine |
| 1/2 quart | balsamic vinegar |
| 2 sprigs | fresh rosemary |
| 2 tbsp | fresh basil, chopped |
| 8 cloves | garlic, minced |
| 1 piece | fresh ginger root, about 1" |
| 1 | jalapeno pepper |
| 2 tbsp | ground pepper |
Place all ingredients into a blender and process until herbs are chopped fine, but some chunks remain.
Store in a cool place.
