Lbs/oz g/kg  
17.5 oz 500g icing sugar
10 tbsp 10 tbsp butter
½ cup ½ cup hot chocolate powder (optional)
½ cup ½ cup milk
2 tbsp 2 tbsp vanilla extract
½ tsp ½ tsp salt

Line a medium tray with butter. In saucepan in boiling water (double pan), heat butter, milk, icing sugar, (cocoa if used), vanilla and salt over a low heat, stirring until it reaches setting point. Pour mixture quickly into buttered 9.5 inch loaf pan.
Allow to cool, then cut into squares. Makes approx 40 pieces.
