Savoury Cheese and Pepper Loaf

½ ½ Sweet Red Pepper
½ ½ Green Pepper
1 1 Onion
3.5 oz 100g Butter
3 3 Eggs
7.4 oz 210g Grated Hard Cheese
1 cup 1 cup Self Raising Flour
    Salt
    Pepper
    Paprika

Remove seeds from peppers, core and cut into very small pieces. Chop the onion until fine. Beat the butter and eggs until frothy, add the flour and then mix in the peppers, onion, grated cheese and seasonings to taste.

Place the dough in a buttered loaf tin and place in the centre of an oven preheated to 375 F / 190C for about 50 minutes until golden brown.

Allow to cool before cutting into slices. Serve cold.

Can be given additional flavour by adding copped bacon to the recipe.
